On February 29, the GRK has hosted an online event with information on the qualification program for doctoral candidates at the GRK and the application process for the 14 currently advertised doctoral positions. The recording of this event as well as the slides used are now available online.

Kick-Off-Event Call for Applications (14 Docs)

We warmly invite all those intrigued by the prospect of applying for a doctoral position within the GRK "Normativity, Critique, Change." Join us for this engaging event to delve deeper into our GRK, gain insights into the application process, and ask any questions you might have regarding the GRK. The online-only event will take place February 29, 15-17:30h (UTC+01:00, Amsterdam, Berlin, Bern, Rome, Stockholm, Vienna). While we will conduct the presentation in German, we encourage you to ask your questions in English. "The Feminine Turn - A Two-Days Research Seminar on Sophocles' Antigone" on June 29 and 30

On the  29th and 30th of June  2023 , the GRK in collaboration with the departments of Religious Studies at the FU and of Classics at the HU will host a  two-days research seminar on Sophocles’  Antigone.  The seminar is t he first event presented by the international research group  The Feminine Turn.  Organizers are Giulia Maria Chesi, lecturer at the Humboldt Universität, and our PhD student Marta Lietti . Workshop on "Logic and Death in Hegel" on June 15 and 16

The two-days workshop on the intersection of life, logic, and negativity will take place in the GRK's building at Altensteinstr. 15 on Thursday, June 15 from 10:15 am to 17:15 pm and likewise on Friday, June 16 . SFB 1512 "Intervenierende Künste"

The German Research Foundation (Deutsche Forschungsgemeinschaft DFG) fosters the Sonderforschungsbereich 1512 "Intervenierende Künste" from January 1, 2022 for an initial period of four years. Five Principal Investigators of the GRK 2638 "Normativity, Criticism, Change" are involved as sub-project leaders in the SFB: Karin Gludovatz (art history, Free University of Berlin), Ariane Jeßulat (musicology, University of the Arts), Doris Kolesch (theater studies, Free University Berlin), Kirsten Maar (dance studies, Free University of Berlin) and Georg Bertram (philosophy, Free University of Berlin, spokesman for the GRK).
