The team at GRK 2638 consists of 14 participating professors, also known as Principal Investigators (PIs), 14 Docs and 2 Post-Docs as well as the coordinator, student assistants, and an associated research group.

The application period is expected to run from April 5 to 26, 2027. In the lead-up to the new appointments, we would like to host an online forum on March 4, 2027. The aim of this event is to introduce the Graduiertenkolleg and give interested candidates the opportunity to engage in conversation with members of the Kolleg, including in smaller groups..

Please note that we can only consider applications from the disciplines represented in the Graduate College: philosophy, literary studies, law, art history, religious studies, linguistics, musicology, theater studies, dance studies, and film studies. The primary supervision of the dissertation must be provided by one of the Principal Investigators (PIs) of the Graduiertenkolleg. Associate membership in the Graduiertenkolleg is not currently planned.

Interviews with invited applicants are scheduled for July 8 and 9, 2027 (online).
